Vexis was founded by Faris Tabib and Lucas Krätzig and operates as a New Zealand–based company. Between the two partners, the practice covers digital forensics and data recovery, database engineering and hosting, web development, and managed IT support — delivered end-to-end without handing work off to third parties.
Vexis works with organisations of every size across New Zealand — from individuals and small businesses through to larger operations that need dedicated technical capability. Whether the work is recovering data from a failed drive, architecting a database, or taking over an IT environment that has drifted, each engagement begins with a technical assessment and a clear scope before any work is committed.

Faris Tabib
Holds a Bachelor's in Cybersecurity & Networking and a Master's in Digital Forensics & Cybersecurity, with international experience across the technology sector. Leads Vexis's forensic investigation, data recovery, incident response, and network security work.
Lucas Krätzig
Technologist with extensive experience in database management, SQL development, and systems architecture. Leads Vexis's data engineering, hosting, and server infrastructure, with a methodical approach to every project.
